Introduction
Tattoo the World is a 501 C(3) non-profit organization that was established in 2019 as a response to the tragic loss of Brandon Williams, who was a victim of a mass shooting. Founded as a grassroots movement by Brandon's sister, the organization aims to provide advocacy and support for individuals affected by various forms of violence. Additionally, they aim to assist low-income women and mothers in accessing mental health and wellness services, as well as providing housing and other resources.
Tattoo the World is to provide individuals impacted by violence have access to advocacy, support, and resources for mental health, wellness, and housing. We strive to empower low-income women and mothers who are disproportionately affected by violence, by providing them with the tools and resources needed to heal and rebuild their lives.
Our vision is a world free of violence, where every individual has access to the resources and support they need to heal and thrive. We see a future where low-income women and mothers are empowered to break the cycle of violence and create a brighter future for themselves and their families. We strive to create a community where individuals impacted by violence can find refuge, support, and hope, and where the voices of survivors are amplified and honored. Through our work, we hope to inspire others to join us in creating a more peaceful, just, and equitable world for all.
